A greeting card with a Greek myth of Daedalus and Icarus:
What this story can teach us?
Where overconfidence will lead us?
Daedalus was the famous architect that Minos hired to build the labyrinth for minotaur’s capture. He fell out of the king’s favour and was imprisoned with his son Icarus. There was one way to escape, by air. he made wings by wax and feathers. there was one advice to be followed
‘DO not fly too high, the sun will melt the wax and DO not fly too low, the sea will wet your wings’. The overconfident and excited Icarus (ΙΚΑΡΟΣ) flew very high and fell into the sea close to the Greek island Icaria. The story can teach us that overconfidence can make you unaware of the limitations taking reckless risks.
